Gotsnowcams.com has grown out of an initial project to monitor snow conditions/depth and make them accessible in real time. The initial project, hosted at Northernchateau.com , went live in 2001 with a single camera and location. To date, the project has grown to 34 web cam location and has spilled over the boundaries of the Tug Hill Plateau. Thus, a new web site has been born! Like its still-active parent site, Gotsnowcams.com will help snowmobilers and others get the most out of winter fun in their area. The coverage area of the new site is beginning in areas outside the Tug Hill Plateau and has the potential to extend state-wide! Updates: December 20th, 2014 Gotsnowcams.com goes live with 4 web cam locations. Additional locations will be added to better view the snow depth and weather around New York State.
